Senior Golang Engineer

An exciting FinTech Start-up who are changing the way we approach transactions and payments across the globe. They are now looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join the backend team of engineers responsible for developing, improving and enhancing their platform based on a highly scalable and secure microservices architecture.

As Senior Golang Engineer you will be contributing to the architecture and implementation the new features and future vision of the platform with a high level of autonomy. You should be an advocate of TDD, pair programming and XP principles, with the ability to encourage engineering best practises. As Senior Go Engineer you will work directly with the Head of Engineering, leading the team by example and offering expertise on event driven programming.

As Senior Golang Engineer you must be skilled with:

• Go
• Kafka (desireable)
• AWS
• Interested in or an exposure to- Ruby and Python
• TDD
• Microservices
