Product Owner – Fintech SaaS

Location: Hybrid – Leeds 3 days a week on site
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000
We’re working with a growing UK-based fintech building modern SaaS platforms and looking Product sector. This is a great opportunity for a Product Owner early in their career who wants hands-on experience delivering complex, regulated products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams, owning day-to-day product execution and helping deliver solutions that balance technical quality, user experience, and commercial value. The role offers strong exposure, real responsibility, and the chance to grow alongside experienced product and technology leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Own and continuously refine the product backlog to reflect customer priorities and business goals
- Break down complex business needs into actionable stories and clear acceptance criteria for the development team
- Work closely with design teams to create solutions that are intuitive, user-friendly, and compliant
- Collaborate with Agile teams to plan sprints, support delivery, and adjust priorities as needed
- Monitor product performance using data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Serve as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment
- Actively participate in Agile rituals, including planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives

- Self-assured and proactive, able to take ownership and drive initiatives forward
- Solid grasp of Agile principles and how they guide product delivery
- Technical literacy with experience collaborating effectively with development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to managing projects
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and a natural collaborator
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and adapts easily to change
- Passionate about fintech and interested in innovations within mortgages and lending
- Comfortable using Agile tools and platforms such as JIRA, GitHub, or equivalents
- Eligible to work in the UK
