Lead Software Engineer

As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive backend development and technical leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend services using TypeScript.
• Architect and maintain APIs that integrate seamlessly with front-end and external systems.
• Drive best practices in code quality, performance, and security.
• Mentor and support engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in backend development, with a strong focus on TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex systems at scale.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs and ideally GraphQL.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Nice to have: Experience with Python for data-centric workflows.
• Full-stack expertise with modern front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and DevOps practices for scalable deployments.
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of guiding technical teams.
