Senior Product Designer

Founding Product Designer
Salary: Up to £80,000 + equity
Location: Hybrid, London area – onsite 3 days a week for the first month (flexible after)

I am partnered with a health tech startup who are looking for their first Founding Senior Product Design hire to help drive their unique SaaS platform into the next phase of growth.

As the Founding Design hire, you will work closely with the CEO, CTO and Engineers to develop and define a user-centric product from existing technical element. You will play a pivotal role in the product strategy, transforming their platform into powerful user journeys, features and cohesive design language.

Responsibilities:

• Lead on all design initiatives from 0-1 and post-launch.
• Be a key contributor defining user needs, shaping the product roadmap and refining the requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the C-suite and Engineering to develop Product positioning.
• Be the voice of Product, helping implement product initiatives and flows into the company.
• Set out a design system that is both scalable and consistent to use across their platform.
• Have a data-driven mindset and be passionate about conducting research to define the product roadmap.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience working as a UX/UX Designer in a SaaS environment.
• Proven work making data-informed decisions and driving UI design.
• Experience working as the sole or founding design hire.
• Proficiency in building design systems and scaling products 0-1.
• Background working in health-tech or bio-tech.
• Experience with AI/ML tools, workflows or modeling.
