Head of Engineering

We’re working with a high-growth, purpose-driven tech company in the pet-care space that’s scaling globally and looking for a Head of Engineering.

The platform is already trusted by tens of thousands of pet owners around the world, with engagement accelerating as it launches into new international markets on top of a category leading rating on the app store. As Head of Engineering, you’ll not only shape technical strategy at a senior level but also stay hands-on with coding, ensuring your decisions directly influence the experience of a passionate and rapidly growing user base.

You’ll sit on the senior leadership team, working closely with product to deliver a global roadmap while driving innovation with technologies such as AI and automation. You’ll combine strategic thinking with day-to-day coding, ensuring scalability, security, and excellent user experience.

As a Head of Engineering, you’ll need the following:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in digital products – whether as a Head of Engineering or Tech Lead
• Strong background with TypeScript/Angular; backend experience in Node/Nest/Express is also valued
• Experience building out Mobile products is advantageous – Ionic experience is a major plus
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Ability to inspire, coach, and build a collaborative engineering culture
