Technical Lead

Contract : Technical Lead : Munich Hybrid : 6 months rolling

A leading client in Munich is seeking a Technical Lead Contractor to drive delivery and technical excellence across a high-impact digital product team.

You’ll be a T-shaped engineer – strong across the full SDLC with deep expertise in at least one backend or frontend technology – and a natural leader who can steer the team while remaining hands-on.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers through design, development, and delivery phases.
• Making architectural decisions and owning the technical roadmap.
• Staying hands-on with coding, code reviews, and problem-solving.
• Driving best practices in engineering – CI/CD, testing, agile principles.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong engineering background – ideally in modern JavaScript (React/Node), Java, Kotlin, or similar.
• T-shaped profile: depth in one or two areas (e.g. backend architecture, DevOps, frontend frameworks) and breadth across the full stack.
• Cloud-native experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Based in or able to commute to Munich 2 days per week.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in fast-paced scale-up or enterprise environments.
• German language skills (not mandatory).
