A leading global design and retail technology agency is looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help develop an embedded digital signage media player. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about building high-performance applications that integrate with smart retail environments, digital experiences, and IoT devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise Android-based applications for interactive retail displays and connected store solutions.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and hardware engineers to create seamless digital in-store experiences.
• Work with Kotlin and Java to build scalable, high-performance software.
• Integrate real-time data analytics and IoT sensors into smart retail touchpoints.
• Ensure smooth playback, media synchronisation, and system stability on embedded devices.

Key Requirements:

• Strong Android development experience using Kotlin & Java.
• Knowledge of media playback frameworks (ExoPlayer, WebRTC, or similar).
• Experience working with embedded systems and Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) is a plus.
• Passion for interactive experiences, retail technology, and digital signage.
