Systems Engineer – Market Research and Analysis

Salary: Up to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits

Location: Hybrid, Manchester (3 days per week in the office)

An exciting opportunity is available for a Systems Engineer to join a leading technology provider in the market research industry. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies to help clients gain deeper insights into consumer digital behaviour through online activity monitoring and analysis.

The role involves building and maintaining VPN systems that monitor online activity, providing key insights into consumer behaviour for clients. The systems use a mix of open-source and custom software, with automation tools like Puppet and Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and understand project requirements.
• Write efficient, well-tested code.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with security and quality standards.

Desired Skills as a Systems Engineer:

• Strong knowledge of Linux Systems Management
• Proficiency in PHP and/or Python
• API Integrations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
