An established leader in the retail industry are searching for a Mobile Engineering Manager to take ownership of multiple teams across their core customer facing iOS and Android applications. The role provides the perfect blend of technical leadership, talent development and software delivery, so your ability to work closely with experienced Engineering Teams is a key component. This is a critical role in the company’s mission to rapidly launch new customer-centric digital products across their web and app-based platforms.

In collaboration with the other Leaders in the Engineering function, you will be a key decision-maker in streamlining and defining the strategy across a number of iOS and Android Mobile Applications, focusing on customer satisfaction, product evolution and the latest technology. As the Mobile Engineering Manager, you should drive your teams to deliver at pace while ensuring they remain inspired and connected to the business’s vision.

Desired skills as a Mobile Engineering Manager:

  • Demonstrable experience leading engineering teams.
  • The ability to articulate technical requirements to the wider business stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Native Mobile App development with iOS/Android
  • Prior hands-on development experience in latest versions of Kotlin or Swift
  • Experience defining and continually evolving technology and architectural strategy
  • Advocate agile development best practice
  • Foster collaboration between engineering and product

Salary and Package on offer:
