Senior Backend Engineer

We are partnered with a successful and rapidly growing start-up, embarking on a mission to normalise automated security compliance for small, medium and enterprise businesses. You will be part of a small team of technical specilaists picking up new challenges along the way. They are looking to speak with experienced professionals who can pick up problems quickly and solve them through collaboration, innovation and autonomy. They use Java and Golang for their backend API development, with a passion for following object-oriented programming principles.

Requirements:

• You have strong Java and Golang experience, working with these technologies commercially for 5+ years.
• Experience with other frameworks and tech such as Springboot, Hibernate, AWS and SQL.
• You have experience in a fast-paced tech environment, startup, or scale-up where Engineers wear multiple hats and define the products together with users.
• You can communicate effectively both within your team and further ares of the business
• You are open to mentoring junior developers, potentially experienced in leadign small teams.
• Experience working in young teams and companies, with the autonomy to work on problems that arise working in these environments.

Interview Process:

• 30 min – Interview with the Chief of Staff
• Tech Assessment (either take-home or live)
• 2h – Final “Virtual On-Site Interview” with the team and co-founders
