Director of Strategy & Architecture

Our client and one of the UK’s leading software and IT service company’s is looking for an experienced and innovative, Director of Strategy & Architecture, to play a key role in creating and executing their technology strategy, whilst also driving the development of their architectural framework.

This is a truly exciting opening for the right candidate as the business navigates a period of significant change which is set to revolutionise the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the technology strategy
• Define the technology roadmap and architectural vision
• Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework
• Provide strategic guidance to technology teams across the business
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends
• Drive the adoption of modern architectural principles, methodologies, and industry standards within the organization

Required Experience

• Currently working a leadership role within strategy and enterprise architecture
• Technical background – hands-on experience in system design, software development, and enterprise architecture
• Must be able to influence collaboration across the firm
• Previous experience of working in a software company (demonstrable understanding of software companies architecture)
• Experience of establishing and building governance
• Strong understanding of technology trends, architectural frameworks, and industry best practices
