Engineering Manager

Type: Permanent
Location: London
Onsite Requirements: Hybrid – 2/3 days a week
Salary: Ranging between £110,000 – £150,000

A leading global SaaS business at the forefront of cutting-edge technology are seeking a talented Engineer Manager to join one of their pioneering ML teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of a kind projects that shape the future of the business, impacting the product evolution as the company continues to grow.

This role is an opportunity for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about harnessing AI and ML to drive innovation and solve complex problems. You should be comfortable leading teams and driving the development and implementation of AI solutions, overseeing projects from ideation to deployment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the AI Labs team and collaborate with data, infrastructure, and platform teams to design and deploy ML-based services using AWS Sagemaker.
  • Understand the current AI products, identify new opportunities, and drive their implementation.
  • Design experiments & deployment solutions in the realm of AI systems.
  • Drive initiatives in the AI Labs teams to advance current ML workflows and software development standards.
  • Develop talent in the AI labs team through learning & development as well as recruiting.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience in AWS ML services, including AWS Sagemaker.
  • Experience in working with DevOps, Cloud Operations, ML-engineering teams.
  • Expertise in driving projects to build enterprise scale ML & LLM solutions.
  • Ambition to understand, question, & shape our ML-based services.
  • Nice to have: Experience in projects involving deployment of LLMs at scale.
