As a Full Stack Software Engineer in this early stage start up, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining brand new software solutions that drive their platform’s growth and impact in the healthcare industry for the better. You will collaborate closely with other members of the engineering team and senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions using Ruby, Python, JavaScript and TypeScript.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern Full Stack web technologies, including Ruby, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Utilise full-stack web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel, Node.js
  • Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient backend and frontend components.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions to improve user experience, performance, and efficiency.
