A dynamic start-up is in search of a highly proficient and self-motivated Business Process Engineer to join their exceptional and continuously growing team, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to the logistics sector and beyond.

They specialise in crafting digital software solutions that facilitate secure and decentralized inter-business collaboration, with a strong emphasis on security, transparency, and equitable value exchange. Their platform is designed to establish distributed workflows, allowing multiple companies with legacy systems and disparate data sources to collaborate seamlessly, resulting in enhanced end-to-end automation efficiency and reliability.

As a Business Process Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in process optimisation and automation within their low-code BPMN platform to design and implement streamlined solutions. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of process analysis, design, and optimisation, particularly in the realms of logistics and cross-border trade. Proficiency in JavaScript and prior experience in low-code solutions would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities as Automation Engineer:

Process Analysis and Design:

  • Analyse and comprehend clients’ current operational processes.
  • Design, optimise, and automate solutions using BPMN on their Verathread platform.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail, understanding exception handling, process rules, and constraints.
  • Utilise root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify process issues and improvement opportunities.

Data Modelling and Data Mapping:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in data modelling to design efficient and extensible data mapping structures.

Testing and Validation:

  • Test and validate solutions to ensure alignment with clients’ operational requirements.

Solution Deployment and Management:

  • Deploy, manage, and monitor solutions, ensuring ongoing reliability and performance.
  • Employ Agile and Scrum methodologies in the deployment and management process.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated with advancements in low-code platforms, BPMN, and relevant technologies such as AI (machine vision, ML and LLM) and OCR.

Collaboration with Product Owner:

  • Collaborate closely with product owners to align product backlog with client solution requirements.
