Kotlin Engineer

Software Engineer – Kotlin / Java – Greenfield Project
Tech: Kotlin, Java 17, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + bonus + benefits
Hybrid Working: 2x a week in office

A growing data business is hiring a Software Engineer to join their team to develop a greenfield product.

You would be working with the team to develop their new product, the team operate a build it, run it approach so you would also get exposure to Architecture, DevOps, Security and Observability as part of the role.

The tech stack is JVM based, with the majority of new development being done with Kotlin and a Microservices Architecture. Given the new nature of the project there is the opportunity to make an impact on future technology selection and development practices.

Key experience:

• Kotlin or Java
• TDD
• Microservices
• Desirable: Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, Event Driven Systems
