Lead Engineer

A unique start-up innovating in the automation space is in search of a Lead Engineer with strong frontend expertise to play a key role in a newly formed team.

They specialise on creating innovative & automated solution to help revolutionise cross-border logistics and the tech team is at the “cutting edge” of Angular based frontend engineering.

As a Lead Engineer, you’ll contribute hands-on while helping to ensure this newly formed team is aligned to its goals and at a high technical standard. There is a great deal of autonomy given in this role and you’ll be give the opportunity to impact product architecture & engineering best practices – working closely with the senior engineering leadership team.

Key responsibilities as a Lead Engineer

• Ownership of Front-End features
• Leading a team combined of experienced and junior engineers
• Leading by example with hands-on excellence
• Impacting Tech roadmap

Desired Skills & requirements:

• Typescript & Angular
• GraphQL Experience is a plus but not essential
• Demonstrable experience in a lead capacity
• TDD, BDD, Clean architecture
• Linux, Git, Docker

Salary/Package on offer:

• Salary: £91,000 + Bonus
• 1 day per week onsite – Central London (remote initially)
• Unlimited annual leave
