A Series A funded FinTech, who are seeking a motivated, and adaptable Data Analyst to join their growing team. As the first Data Analyst hire, you will join a small but mighty tech team, so will need to be confident working independently. You will be responsible for extracting, interpreting, sharing and recommending insights from large, complex data sets.

The successful Data Analyst will drive informed decision-making within the business and work cross-functionally in supporting various departments. This role will own the development of the self-serve insights platform, making sure it meets the diverse needs of the business. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll need to be commercially minded when conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
• 3-5 years experience in a Data Analyst (or similar) role
• Experience working in a high-growth, digital, product-led business
• Ability to communicate well, and present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders in a compelling fashion
• Be passionate and self-motivated
• To be commercially minded and experience working autonomously
• Experience using product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel or GA)
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with data visualisation such as Power BI, Tableau
• Be a great cultural fit – the team likes to socialise after work together!
• Bonus if you have knowledge of the Fintech industry
