Lead Data Engineer

Our company is a B2B SaaS startup based in Hamburg. We have already made a significant
impact by driving increased sales for several e-commerce companies.

In this role, you will play a hands-on role in the establishment and expansion of
our data ingestion and machine learning pipelines. With a growing client base of over
70 businesses across Europe, we recognise the need for an individual who can oversee all
aspects of our data operations.

Creating and developing a state-of-the-art data architecture and system in line with your
unique vision.

Desired Qualifications:

• A highly skilled software engineer with a track record of working on diverse
  data-related projects, including the establishment and management of machine
  learning pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Desire to move beyond the individual contributor (IC) position and embrace a
  leadership role driving the business value.
• A strong foundation in software engineering, encompassing proficiency in various
  programming languages, platforms, and frameworks.
• Expertise in Apache Spark or equivalent technologies.
• Proficiency with pub/sub solutions such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and similar platforms.
