Salary: €110,000 – €130,000 + Benefits

A fast-growing European fintech company are looking for an Senior Engineering Manager to design, develop and focus on performance and scalability of their systems. As the Senior Engineering Manager, your time will be split equally between people management, technology leadership and representing the company with high standards and quality across both business and product ways.

The role provides the perfect blend of technical domain system management, architectural software delivery, team management and people delegation. Your ability to work closely with experienced engineering teams is crucial. This is a critical role in the company’s mission for rapidly growing platforms, adding value to the customer base and solving complex technical problems.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Kotlin, Java, Kafka, Spring
• High-quality architectural standards (DDD, TDD, XP)
• Previous hands-on or architecture experience
• Experience in managing and coordinating teams
• Ensuring the right team is in place for productiveness at all times
• Encouraging and advocating agile delivery best practices
• Confidence in representing a company, shaping and dealing with complexity prior to it hitting the team
• Ensuring dependencies are dealt with across the company and beyond
• Decision making: ideas, new business opportunities, unshaped features, tech debt, switch in architectural approach etc.
