Contract Engineering Manager

Day Rate : £700 – 800 : Outside IR35
A major UK eCommerce company is hiring a Contact Engineering Manager to join their digital transformation leadership team.
As Contract Engineering Manager your time will be split equally between people management and technology leadership where you will be tasked with leading multiple scrum teams that are building core components for their new eCommerce platform.
The role provides the perfect blend of technical leadership, talent development and greenfield software delivery so your ability to work closely with experienced engineering teams is crucial. This is a critical role in the company’s mission to rapidly launch new customer-centric digital products and develop a multi-channel approach that adds value to the customer.
As Contract Engineering Manager you will need:
  • Experience in managing software engineering teams (ideally Java)
  • Encourage agile delivery best practice
  • Previous hands-on or architecture experience
  • Knowledge of Java, Spring, maven or Grundle
  • Great communication skills
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Contract Engineering Manager to take on a crucial role with an established and highly reputable business.
Day rate: up to £800 per day (outside)
