Head of Data Analytics

Salary: Up to £120,000 plus bonus & benefits
Location: Hybrid, London (3 days per week onsite)
Type: Permanent

I’ve partnered with an innovative technology business operating at the intersection of clean energy and electric mobility. With a growing international presence and a portfolio of high-profile partnerships across the automotive and energy sectors, they are using data and intelligent systems to help shape a more sustainable future.

As part of their next phase of growth, they’re looking for a Head of Data Analytics to lead on data strategy, insight delivery, and the development of scalable analytics capabilities. This is a key leadership role with significant influence over how data and AI are embedded across the organisation.

The Head of Data Analytics will be responsible for leading a talented analytics function, driving insights, and enabling self-serve capabilities across the company. You’ll be hands-on where needed but also a strategic leader who can influence the roadmap for AI and data use across a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Key Responsibilities as Head of Data Analytics:

  • Shape and deliver the data analytics strategy in line with wider business goals.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing analytics team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote a data-first culture, embedding experimentation and insight-led decision-making.
  • Partner with business units to deliver tools and dashboards that drive clarity and action.
  • Identify and apply emerging trends in analytics, AI, and machine learning.
  • Build scalable analytics infrastructure using modern cloud technologies.
  • Present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements as Head of Data Analytics:

  • Proven track record of leading data strategy in high-growth or scale-up settings.
  • Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience building and managing analytics teams.
  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).
  • Commercially minded with a focus on driving business value through data.
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Solid grasp of analytics infrastructure, data modelling, ML, and AI.
  • Strong communicator and confident stakeholder manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact team on a mission to drive sustainability and innovation at scale through data. If you’re ready to shape the future of data in a purpose-led, AI-first business, we’d love to hear from you.
