Data Governance Manager

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus equity and bonus

Location: London, Hybrid (flexible remote options)

As the Data Governance Manager, you will at the forefront of improving data quality, mitagating risks and supporting the technical teams in abiding by industry regulations. This position will play a key part in the overall the overall data strategy and ensuring the business hits its objectives through effective data management.

Key Responsibilities as Data Governance Manager:

• Support the rolle out of a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop and refine data policies, standards and procedures to align with business and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and data management best practices.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs.
• Partner with wider IT and Tech teams to ensure data governance tools and technologies are fit for purpose.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.
• Provide training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders to promote data governance awareness and adherence.

Qualifications as Data Governance Manager:

• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
• Experience with stakholder management within a complex organisation.
