A leading software development consultancy is seeking a Director of Technology to lead their go-to-market strategy and drive growth within the financial services sector.

This pivotal role involves shaping client engagements, supporting revenue growth, and steering the transition to a more consultative, ‘builder’ approach that delivers tailored software solutions to enterprise clients.

Director of Technology Responsibilities:

Sector Leadership: Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy for the finance sector, focusing on large banks and enterprise clients.
Client Engagements: Forge relationships with senior executives, ensuring high-quality delivery and establishing the company as a trusted advisor.
Distributed Team Management: Oversee nearshore and offshore capabilities, managing distributed teams to enhance scalability and efficiency.
Expansion into Other Sectors: While primarily finance-focused, this role offers the chance to influence strategies across other sectors, including public sector.

Director of Technology experience:

Finance Sector Expertise: Extensive experience in financial services, with a robust network and the gravitas to engage executives in major organisations.
Consultative Approach: Demonstrated success in a consulting environment, ideally with experience in digital transformation for regulated environments.
Technical Leadership: Strong background in technology delivery, specifically in managing large-scale platforms.
Strategic Vision: Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive sustainable growth.

This Director of Technology will help scale the software development practice targeting the finance sector. With a long-term incentive plan (LTIP) included, you’ll also share in the company’s success as it continues to grow.
